Administrator / Editor password resets are not working
Email by it's very nature is insecure, and is frequently compromised. This results in a trade-off between security and convenience, one which is lessened with the prevalent use of a password manager thus reducing the need to reset a password.
By default, on your Fortress security enabled site the ability to reset a password by email for Administrator and Editor roles is disabled.
Please contact us with a ticket support@sixfive.io confirming your mobile phone number, and we will reset your password for you, a fresh new one will be sent to you via SMS.
If you are a Care Plan client, please create a ticket in Asana as well so we can get you logged back in.
Note your username nor your two factor authentication details will be changed.
Once you have your new password, please enable two factor authentication immediately, and change the password.
Passwords should be 16 or more characters, and never be the same as another password you have elsewhere.
If you previously enabled two factor authentication, and have lost the codes as well, you may need to have another administrator (or us) disable your two factor authentication.
Yes, these hoops seem like a pain, but unfortunately, they are necessary to protect your website from malicious types who really want to gain access to it.
